My own journey began with a deep passion for holistic health and wellness. This led me to pursue certifications in personal training, holistic nutrition, and guided meditation, as I recognized the profound connection between mind and body. My mission? My Story
My name is Serena, at 15 years old I discovered the gym. Before that I had always been into sports from a very young age. I practiced a large scale of sports from gymnastics, swimming, running, dancing to professional volleyball, however none of those sports sparked the same passion in me as weightlifting did.

When I discovered weight training, I quickly fell in love with the processed of building muscle and getting stronger by the day. Highschool was a period of my life where I struggled a lot and was not always having the best of times. Fitness became my safe heaven, my escape and the only place that made me feel like I belonged.
I began doing my own research regarding fitness and nutrition and started experimenting on my own body. I became very passionate about nutrition. I was fascinated to see how my body would respond to different types of foods. I loved acquiring knowledge. However I took my drive and passion for health and fitness to a completely different extreme.
At 16 years old I developed an eating disorder. It wasn't long before I began losing a lot of weight. I couldn't train as hard in the gym, I felt weak. I kept restricting my calories and over-exercising to the point where I lost my period for over 2 years and I was forced to stop training for three months.
With the support of my family, I embarked on a journey of recovery, which led me to shift my focus on being healthy again. At 18 years old I decided to get my personal trainer certification, I wanted to educate myself and eventually help others along their fitness journey as well. I wanted to be the person I wish I had been by my side to guide me when I first started.
When I got my certification as a P.T. I didn't expect to turn it into my full-time job, let alone my business. As the time passed I became better and better at personal training. At only 18 years old I started to grow a clientele and I felt fulfilled by helping others along their fitness journey. I kept going and slowly but surely my clientele grew even wider to the point where I was able to quit my second job. I was now a full-time trainer. It felt good. And then - the pandemic hit.
The pandemic was a blessing in disguise in terms of my career. During that phase of my life, I got to know myself better and I dove deep into spirituality, inner growth and meditation. I meditated every day for 1 year straight. I then decided to get a certification as a guided meditation coach and energy healing therapist. To add to that I also joined a holistic nutrition bachelor's degree program at the University Of Ottawa online.
The reason why I felt the need to educate myself better in those spheres was because I ultimately wanted to help others on a deeper level. You see, while in quarantine I realized that working on our external appearance and on our body is great but there always feels like something is missing. No matter how good we might look on the outside, none of it matters if we don't take care of how we look and feel on the inside. This was something that I already knew from working with many of my clients. In most sessions, clients would deliberately open up to me about their personal lives and how they felt emotionally and internally. When I started relating everything and making the dots connect it made me want to dive even deeper into the concept of combining spirituality and fitness: two things that I am passionate about. I wanted to stop focusing on surface-level things when it came to working with my clients and start focusing on building a deeper foundation.

My journey has taught me that true health and happiness come from nurturing both the body and the soul. Today, I am dedicated to empowering others to unlock their full potential and live their best lives, inside and out.
